[여행honey] 클럽메드 토마무의 가족 고객들 "한국 스태프 만족" | 연합뉴스

지난 주말 일본 홋카이도 클럽메드 토마무에서 용인대학교 이재형 교수가 스키를 타던 중, 눈 구덩이에 빠져 움직이지 못하는 싱가포르 출신 아이를 발견했다. 함께 있던 오재선 스키 디렉터(클럽메드 토마무)와 함께 아이를 구조해 어머니에게 인계했다.

이 교수는 클럽메드와 용인대학교의 산학협력 MOU 체결 행사에 참석한 자리였다. 이번 협약을 통해 용인대 학생들은 일본 클럽메드를 포함한 글로벌 리조트에서 스키 강사(G.O.)로 실무 경험을 쌓는다. 2024년에는 14명, 2025년에는 9명의 학생이 파견되었으며, 선발 과정에서 어학 능력과 인성을 고려해 최종 인원을 결정한다.

클럽메드는 앞으로 테니스, 요가 등 다양한 분야로 G.O. 활동을 확대하고, 관광경영학과와 협력해 호텔 경영까지 교육 범위를 넓힐 계획이다. 한진수 용인대 총장은 이번 협력이 학생들의 진로와 대학 홍보에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 기대했다.

Professor Lee Jae-hyung from Yongin University and Ski Director Oh Jae-sun of Club Med Tomamu rescued a young child trapped in a snow pit while skiing in Hokkaido, Japan. The child, a visitor from Singapore, was safely returned to their mother.

Professor Lee was in Hokkaido for the signing of an MOU between Club Med and Yongin University, allowing students to work as ski instructors (G.O.) at Club Med resorts. In 2024, 14 students participated, with 9 more in 2025, selected based on language skills and personality.

Club Med plans to expand G.O. roles to include tennis, yoga, and hotel management in collaboration with the Tourism Management Department. Yongin University expects this partnership to benefit students’ careers and enhance the university’s reputation.
